Parajett

Parajett has just over 100 employees. Some have the option to work from home, while others are physically present in production. These differences can often be a challenge when it comes to training and learning. For Carina Hellborg, Head of Quality and Security, NanoLearning is a valuable tool.– NanoLearning truly works on the users’ terms, she says.

As an ISO 27001-certified company, Parajett is required to train its staff in information security. Carina Hellborg previously conducted this training herself—but then the pandemic hit. Suddenly, people weren’t on-site, and they needed to rethink their training approach. One key solution was to adopt NanoLearning as a training method.

Different access to digital tools

Access to digital resources varies significantly, and the pandemic made these differences even more apparent. For example, before COVID-19, not all employees had personal email addresses. And the ability to connect remotely or work from home also varies. The goal is to make training accessible to everyone.
– We’ve set up “kiosk computers” where our employees can access internal news and complete their NanoLearning lessons, explains Carina Hellborg. And, of course, they have the right to set aside time for it.

Parajett’s FSC certification also requires them to inform and educate staff about regulatory changes. In addition, Carina meets with all new hires to go over the different ISO certifications the company holds. NanoLearning has become an excellent complement to the in-person training on information security and GDPR.

One challenge is the variation in training participation among different employee groups—especially among those who primarily use computers for controlling production systems rather than communication.
– The production team works in shifts, and that makes follow-up difficult for me. That’s why it’s especially important that managers take responsibility for tracking progress.

Useful at work and at home

As the security manager, Carina Hellborg sees continuity as one of the greatest strengths of the NanoLearning method—something she knows other leaders at Parajett also appreciate. Even typically skeptical colleagues give NanoLearning a “thumbs up” for being so simple and accessible.

Employees also mention that even if some lessons don’t directly relate to their specific roles, the knowledge is still useful in their personal lives.
– It might be about passwords, understanding your home network, or other practical matters. And that, of course, also improves our employees’ digital safety.

Carina only has positive things to say about the collaboration with Junglemap, particularly praising the proactive and engaged Customer Success Manager—a clear success factor for achieving strong results and impact. Another point she emphasizes is the importance of internal alignment. As a member of the executive team, she understands the value of having full buy-in for the NanoLearning initiative.
