Robert Hoffmann sees clear effects of NanoLearning as a method to increase awareness of information security. Employees are quicker to report issues and much more cautious about clicking on links.
– What’s really great about NanoLearning is that you get small reminders throughout the year. Most people are very happy with the nano-format. It’s much better than reading long instructions.
Automated distribution and follow-up
Mekonomen Company sends an introductory course to all new hires, followed by Junglemap’s standard course in information security, with a new lesson every third week throughout the year.
Since this spring, the company has also integrated Active Directory (AD) with Junglemap’s platform. This enables automated reporting to all managers and ensures that new employees are automatically added to the NanoLearning loop and receive their introduction.
– The automation provided by the AD integration is a real advantage, says Robert Hoffmann. I really like that functionality.
The results from the security courses are similar in both Sweden and Norway – in terms of both response rates and completion rates. The next step in the awareness effort will be to start using phishing tests.
– We have a full license with Junglemap, and we may eventually complement our regular LMS with additional courses, reflects Robert Hoffmann.
