Dometic

For Dometic, the motivation to use NanoLearning comes both from within the organization and from external demands. Lars Andersson, CISO at Dometic, also brings experience with Junglemap from a previous employer.– We’ve compared various solutions, and with Junglemap, you get great results for the effort, he says.

Spread the word

Like all organizations, Dometic has a need to train its staff and raise awareness about information security—a priority clearly backed by executive leadership. Today, Dometic uses Junglemap’s standard course in information security, translated into eight different languages to reach more than 4,000 employees worldwide.
– We’ve acquired several companies in other countries, and when we compare this model with other systems, we find that NanoLearning and Junglemap’s approach are unbeatable, says Lars Andersson.

Easy to manage and easy to learn

Lars highlights the simplicity of the solution—for both administrators and end users. The feedback is positive, complaints are extremely rare, and completion rates are high.
– We know it’s a method that works. Of course, we have challenges when it comes to staff in production who don’t have individual work computers, but we’re working on reaching them more effectively.

With limited internal resources, it’s hard to prioritize and produce custom training content. But with minor adjustments, Junglemap’s standard courses fit Dometic’s needs perfectly. As an administrator, Lars sets up the training plan together with Junglemap’s Customer Success Manager—in just 20 minutes.
– I really like that way of working together. If I had done it alone, it probably would have taken a couple of hours, and I wouldn’t be sure everything was set up correctly. Now we do it together, and once it’s done, we have a schedule that just runs.

Manager reports to boost impact

Starting this year, Dometic will also use Junglemap’s manager reporting function, which enables leaders at different levels to automatically track course completion among their teams. It's a great way to further increase both engagement and effectiveness.
Previously, Lars—as the responsible CISO—had to “chase managers.” Now, he looks forward to more of a “self-playing piano.”

A key part of the program’s success is preparing the organization for the rollout. Information goes out via the intranet, through management, and with preparation emails to all employees.
– That’s how we achieve the organizational impact we’re aiming for, says Lars Andersson.
