When cyber risk meets reality - key take aways from ECCP conference in the Phillipines
On September 16th, Junglemaps’ partner Tagore was selected to co-host Risk Meets Reality, a high-profile cybersecurity seminar for the Phillipines & East Asia market together with the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP).

On the virtual stage, Tagore COO Magnus Solberg gave a presentation on how to create a resilient security culture and showcased NanoLearning from Junglemap as a way to empower first line workers to act as a human firewall.

What’s your overall impressioin of the conference?
- The atmosphere at Risk Meets Reality was very professional, and it was a true honor to share the stage with such distinguished speakers as the Norwegian Ambassador, representatives from DICT, and the CISO of Interpol.
What’s your key take away?
- From my perspective, the event underscored the importance of strengthening security awareness and resilience in the Philippine finance sector and beyond - especially for front-line workers who are in the trenches every day.
What was the focus in your key note?
- My talk focused on the importance of building a robust and resilient security culture across all levels of the organization. A key message was that NanoLearning is an excellent tool to support this, as it raises awareness and competence efficiently and effectively, and integrate seamlessly into the daily workflow of employees. The year-round “constant drip” learning approach is especially impactful for front-line staff, who face real-world risks daily and may have limited time to set off for training.
How was this message received by the audience?
- It's always difficult to review yourself, but the follow-up questions and positive feedback from the attendees after the talks showed that our contribution was both engaging and highly valued.
Is there any follow up on this event?
-Yes there is, all participants are now offered to test-run NanoLearning in a pilot from Tagore and Junglemap. Invitations has just been sent out and based on the excitement during the event, we’re anticipating quite some attraction.
